Apparently, not everyone has auricularly discerned that the Washington Redskins are no longer called the Washington Redskins. A picture of a man who is presumably Native American, wearing a tee-shirt that verbalizes ‘Caucasians” across the front, went viral on Tuesday. The shirt, an endeavor to mock the team formerly kenned as the Washington Redskins, expeditiously sparked a reaction on Twitter after utilizer @infamouschar shared the pic.
The man in the pic was not identified.

Of course, the Redskins are now kenned as the Washington Football Team. Which scrounges the question of why this photo was shared now? Unless it was just for a laugh. However, if it was intended to spark solemn debate by jolting caucasian people out of their alleged racism or apathy by subjecting them to the very same mascot utilization that Native Americans have been subjected to, it failed.
Twitter users were expeditious to either mock the travestying shirt or verbally express they wanted to get one.
That’s awesome. I want a shirt. Take my money!!
As a Caucasian I feel… …honored. — Ulisses Sampaio (@UlissesPSampaio) January 12, 2021
The beat part of that shirt is not a single white person (or 3/4 white person) is offended and authentically cerebrates it’s pretty badass.
It literally proves who the racists genuinely are…. — Brutus Maximus (@BRVTVSMAXIMVS) January 12, 2021
I'd rock this

“Is” this supposed to be offensive?? Cause it's not! Atleast to me! I cerebrate it's great 😏😏😏The tweet has been retweeted over 80,000 times and relished over 640,000 times as of Tuesday afternoon. One Twitter utilizer suggested that “Washington Rednecks” might be a better name for a shirt since “Redskins” is a derogatory term, while “Caucasians,” though flawed, is not considered derogatory.

However, it’s virtually only white people who find the term “Redskins” derogatory. According to a Washington Post poll taken in 2016, 90% of Native Americans verbally expressed they were not offended by the term. Of course, none of that averted the media from dismaying the then-Redskins corporate sponsors from threatening to culminate their business relationships with the team unless they transmuted the denomination.
