Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) verbalized Wednesday on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time” the lawsuit signed on by several lawmakers against former President Donald Trump and his former attorney Rudy Giuliani for allegedly inciting the January 6 incident on Capitol Hill made the former president face “accountability and consequences.”
Coleman verbally expressed, “I pray that this lawsuit achieves accountability and consequences. I believe that this lawsuit is going to result in Donald Trump and Giuliani and the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys and the folks associated with them that had collaborated to the point with all of their falsifications after the Election of who acquired victory, with stoking people up, with orchestrating this day on January 6th, that they’re held accountable for it.”
“I hope that we agnize through this effort withal that this was an overt, intentional suppression of the minority vote because when you cerebrate about where the votes were being challenged, they were being challenged in communities that voted for Joe Biden that were predominantly ebony and brown,” she perpetuated. “So I want people to apperceive the totality of what this was. This was not just an assault upon democracy, albeit that’s a horrible experience. This was withal a 2021 endeavor to suppress the ebony vote, to harass us, to dismay us, and to make our vote not count.”
