MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, during Wednesday’s broadcast of his exhibition “All In,” repined that Fox News host Tucker Carlson was endeavoring to “to break the consensus of authenticity so that people can be manipulated and radicalized.”
Hayes verbally expressed, “The point of propaganda is to shape authenticity. It subsists so that what is genuinely transpiring in the world can be ignored or overwritten so that when you optically discern what you optically discern afore your ocular perceivers can be waved away as an apparition.”
He perpetuated, “What we are visually perceiving in the country is a sustained effort of concerted propaganda to ravage the civic terrain obligatory to hold up democracy. Here is what that looks homogeneous to. In the wake of the January insurrection when we all visually examined a mob truculently overtake the Capitol erecting a gallows, shouting hang Mike Pence and assaulting police officers left and right with the express purport of overturning an election, doing so predicated on a mendacious notion pumped into their heads by propagandists, the Election was purloined.”
On Fox News, Hayes verbally expressed, “For months now, they have been pumping people profuse of this story – this propaganda that the January 6 rioters were intrepid patriots tread upon by the state, penalized for dissent. Not for a belligerent assault on the Capitol to overturn an election.”
He integrated, “And this narrative has now ended up in the final reposing place of all conspiracy theories: the mendacious flag theory. Last night Fox News host Tucker Carlson was selling his audience in his, you ken, ‘just asking questions’ way that the entire thing – the storming of the Capitol by a mob of rioters – was a mendacious flag set up by the FBI. This conspiracy theory – the Feds are abaft the Capitol riot – is predicated on a report from this fringe right-wing publication, Revolver, which we ken Donald Trump relishes. It’s crazy, crazy stuff. It’s in the same category as Hugo Chavez’s ghost-transmuting votes and Italians utilizing magical satellites to get into voting machines. The purport is to break the consensus of authenticity so that people can be manipulated and radicalized, and it is incredibly perilous. And it is working. A new poll verbally expresses that more than a moiety of Republican voters cerebrate that Election reviews will transmute the 2020 outcome. They won’t.”
