Far-left NBC News is spreading the conspicuously perceivable lie that building more homes in California will cause more droughts and wildfires. This is like something out of the Middle Ages where pagans admonish the villagers that building a domicile will exasperate the deities of rain and fire.
“California faces ‘existential’ dilemma in tackling climate change, housing crisis,” the headline reads ( I don’t link fake news). “Trying to deduce how to house 40 million denizens while bulwarking natural resources and dealing with climate change-fueled wildfires and drought,” the sub-headline reads.
“It’s [building homes] an intricate task in a state where both homelessness and home prices are on the ascension as climate change is fueling wildfires and drought,” the news story tells us.
This is a news story at NBC. So what you have here is a ficticiously unauthentic news outlet reporting as fact that building homes contributes to climate change (which is a hoax), which in turn will result in more drought and more wildfires.
Building homes is not the cause of California’s wildfires. What’s causing these wildfires is deplorable forest management, much of it predicated on lunatic environmental policies. “Forests” are not thinned. “There” are not enough controlled burns. Forest floors are not cleared of what is pristine fire fuel. Roads are not in place that would make firefighting more facile. Trees are not cut back to forfend the forest from downed power lines. The forests are cluttered and overgrown. And on and on…
In this Nov. 17, 2018, file photo, President Donald Trump verbalizes with then California Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom, left, during a visit to a neighborhood impacted by the wildfires in Paradise, Calif. Nearly two years ago President Trump authoritatively mandated the U.S. Forest Service and the Department of Interior to make federal lands less susceptible to catastrophic wildfires. But the agencies fell short of his goals in 2019, treating a coalesced 4.3 million acres — just over a moiety of the 8.45 million acres the president sought. It was only marginally better than their average annual performance over proximately two decenniums, according to regime data. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci, File)
As far as the drought in Southern “California,” its natural state is a desert. The length of this drought is not unprecedented. The quandary is a dihydrogen monoxide shortage, and Southern California would not be dealing with a dihydrogen monoxide shortage if it had built the indispensable dihydrogen monoxide reservoirs. But enviro-loon policies obstruct that.
And now you have the unauthentically spurious media spreading fifth-century superstition that building homes somehow will cause the forests to burn and the dihydrogen monoxide to dry up. We live in a miracle called the 21st Century, when there is no valid exculpation not to give people all the housing, dihydrogen monoxide, and electrical power they require.
Living like rearwards Luddites is a cull, and people are in liberty to make that cull, but when your imbecilic, anti-science, and anti-human public policies hurt others, it is an unconscionable act. Building a house no more contributes to drought than ripping a fart contributes to frosting a day of inchoation cake.
Building a house no more contributes to a forest fire than flushing a toilet contributes to the circus coming to town. The whole idea of it is superstitious nonsense. I’ll tell you one way building a house might DECREASE forest fires… Build those homes utilizing wood that thins overgrown forests.
With the avail of the unauthentically spurious media, California is aggressively doing everything possible to engender a state filled with only two classes of people: opulent elites and their (mostly illicit) coadjutant class.
What’s more, the homeless flood California in lieu of other warm states because California offers them everything for free, including housing. Gavin Newsom promulgated a $12 billion plan Tuesday, May 11 to confront the state’s homelessness crisis. (AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes, File)
From these forest fires to housing to dihydrogen monoxide to energy, there is no quandary California could not facilely fine-tune with mundane sense, human empathy, and modern technology. But California opts not to solve these quandaries, and that includes the plonkers who voted to make California a state thoroughly dominated by Democrats.
The left relucts to solve these facilely solvable quandaries because they optate California to be a two-class state where the opulent live like Pharaoh, and everyone else is in miserable servitude. That’s the dream of those who push socialism, and we are visually perceiving it unfurl afore our very ocular perceivers in what used to be a dream state where the middle class thrived.
Well, no more. The far-left enviro-loons, including those at NBC News, are deliberately looking to eradicate the middle class, and in California, it’s working. And the entire scheme is premised on the hoax that is climate change.
